You are very welcome and I am very glad if I can contribute something to your work, as much as I am glad that you contribute to mine.
Just an additional observation that perhaps exceeds the limits of just photography. Do I have the impression that some people in not very "industrial" countries are lightyears in front of us when it comes to... reading? And isn't it a very essential part of a human being to dedicate some hours daily to cultivation of the mental world? But the modern world seems to adopt more and more the much better system of expecting knowledge and culture to automatically invade our minds without any effort from us. Perhaps that's one reason for having so many self-declared "artists" here, that are indistinguishable from each other, because they were "invaded" by arts, without having any mental preoccupation. ;-)
Anyway, thanks a lot for the image again, and just continue your work - you don't seem to expect that automatism to happen ;-). And that's a good, a very very good thing.
Best wishes,
Nick

ZAW! Perfect, a portrait, but not only a portrait, not JUST a portrait, an old man seating there with that pose at his foots and with the book, in excellent lighting conditions and also at amazing tight framing, absolutely excellent portrait Ahmed!

At last some other subject than sea and blue and palms, Ahmed! And you managed to get that quite impressive right from the start. Alone the almost legible arabic letters amongst the so many wonderful details are something, that most of the people here simply can't do. (Even if they say that they are doing "arts" :-D). Sorry friends, the truth has to be spoken loud and clear!
So, I might suggest us all to take an example from such images like this one here! Not only is the moment great and the felling irrepeatable, but also Ahmed's skills *adequate* for putting it onto an image! And at the end, I can only see the image and not the original scene - which strictly logically makes me admire anynody that can transfer that scene so wonderfully on a photo!
Ahmed, best wishes and keep it up!
Nick

Very interesting shot, looks like intense reading, in Arabic. I like the objects in the picture, such as the mat he is sitting on, the bottles, the hat and the book. The B&W effect works with the shot. On the downside, maybe just a touch underexposed for the face skin which would have interesting to see, and lacking a bit more contrast, still a good shot. Best regards, Art.
