About	Took a series of shots and the little bugger started comming right up to me, was laying on the ground trying to prevent camera shake. Using a 70-300 lens and trying to keep focus.

Thank you Brigitte it was a unplanned catch. I had actually laid down my tripod and was moving down the rocks to look at a flower that was between the rocks. So I had to lie down and get as steady as possible. The mink heard the sound and actually started coming towards me. I kept shooting until he got scared and ran away.

What a beautiful animal, Garold! Great capture! What a shame that so many of these are hunted just for their fur. I don't think I've ever seen one in the wild before... thanks for taking these photos. Best wishes, Brigitte
