So sorry for the late reply Marta, we are in the process of moving to Spain to live so I am up to my eyes in packing boxes and don't have much free time.
I think you did a perfect job of capturing the atmosphere of the Alhambra, I never manage to capture the tranquility that you caught in this shot. Very well done!

I wish I could try some other variations with the top, but the problem is I have only 18-55 lens for now. I wanted to have exactly the same reflection as the original part above the water and because of the water I couldn't come closer. The result is what you can see above.. :)
By the way I took a look at your pics from Andalucia :) You succeed to catch the atmosphere of this lovely place, both the lovely white houses in the sun and the lazy lifestyle of that part of the world...My congratulations, I couldn't do that :(

I would have been tempted to crop more off from the top, for me the beauty of this image is the wonderful reflection!
Like Tony I have never seen this place without lots of people about....you got very lucky and it resulted in a gorgeous image!

No other people - I was just lucky :) Besides I spent long hours waiting for that moment ;)))
It was my intention not to include the top - I wanted to use that angle and include that reflection but the sky was too pale and including the top of the building with much more sky would spoil the effect...

It's a fabulous reflection. And how come there are no other people - this place is NEVER empty! Did you have a private tour?! What disturbs me just a little is that you did not include the top of the building.
