I can see what the 3 stop can do. The only filter I have used is a polarizer. Although, i have a few more now and will just have to get out and 'play' with them to get used to what they can do and how best to use them. Pictures like yours inspire me to learn more.

Cheers Keith, I wasnt standing here long cos it was getting a bit sinky like, the things you do to get a shot, eh!. The LEE filters are the ultimate mate, very expensive, but worth it, i binned the Cokin a long time ago.

Cheers for the comment Mary, the sky was quite bright hence the 3 stop grad, which just held it back.

Great place and nice choice in filters, fancy this LEE system myself
Find where you were standing a pain though as its easy to sink and get up to the eyes

I can see why you love this place. It is marvelous. This is a superb scene. I love the bright, yet eerie tones. Your composition draws me right into the background of the scene after enjoying every part along the way.
