Excelent use of DOF and wonderfull natural colors. The creamy bokeh and the difuse light (ideal to shot macro) are the big plus in this shot.

This is exactly what I had in mind when I shot something similar, only my effort turned out blurry and disappointing. This is just lovely, the shallow DOF works well, and the rich color promises a beautiful blossom. When I tried this, the smallest breeze kept moving the flower outside of the DOF. You managed to capture this exactly how I wanted mine. Well done!!

A beautiful macro, Jim, and exceptional due to the tiny size of the subject.. Excellent use of shallow DOF, though I do wish the center was razor sharp - a very tough request, I know... I actually like the centered composition here, especially with the diagonal stem softly retreating into the background. Outstanding work all around.
