I didn't realize you were doing it commercially. The amateur way that I always used was a double projection onto a screen to re-shoot.

Well, I didn't do the work myself. A local lab did it, and made a duplicate slide.

You are welcome Shirley. Well, I must say I guess I don't understand the process. I am thinking you can adjust the slides by hand as to where you overlay them. Even if you are projecting them. And then crop out what is missing from the sandwich... musch like taking crust off a PBJ.....

Thank you very much, Dave! Actually, if you read my about, this was a slide sandwich...two slides taped together and rephotographed. I really didn't have a lot of choice as to where the branch went. I just thought it looked nice.:)Of course, digitally, it would have been a different matter...

Wow, very cool. I really like this but would never have noticed the noise, I don't think. I am wondering why you placed the horse and rider where you did instead of slightly to the left where his head was not obscured by the branch. Maybe because you felt it looked more natural??

Wonderful creation and composition Shirley... so calm and peaceful silhouette yet the branches and its crooked linesis a contrast to this mood. very nice...

Very nice image, excellent post-production (thanks for the about), it's very difficult to have an image like this with digital manipulation, I think.
