I love the challenge Bill and I cannot express enough how grateful I am to you for suggesting me to go after song birds. You'll see more coming in the next few days. I am done with Hawks and Waterfowl... just kidding. Take care buddy. Yamil

It's rather colorful. Here are a couple of birds from Seattle:

Beautiful capture of this little guy, Yamil! I like they way you got him with the beak open, and he looks great against the background of the foliage. Dave.

Hi Yamil, Yes, the background may be less cluttered in the second photo. So, the overall effect is probably a bit more pleasing. But, the detail of the feathers is just superb on this one. Both are very, very good! Andre

Hi Richard, What I like about this one is the singing, but you are right the second one have a better background and composition. A combination of both will be great. That's my excuse to go back to Montebello LOL. BTW, thank you very much for your kind words. Yamil

I like the second photo more than this one. No reason in particular, just personal preference. I love ALL your photos. I think you and Marcos Armani are some of the finest avian photographers on the planet! I really need to buy a real lens. You can't get a good clean, sharp picture with a $180 lens.
