Hi Tracey, this my opinion,
The natural smille has been good.
1)The Lighting, details and the contrast, are perfect . Just a few problems in angle.
If I that photographed, I will shift a little to left or right, so as the part foot or the side of the body continued to be seen.
The line behind to the wall indeed distracting.
2) With F/28 necessarily could be able to DoF that was good so as BG was seen sweet.
3)Spot metering in between the eyes. So as to fall the point focus to the area of the face.
The form of the face will like this be seen more sweet and pretty with angle a little in left or right. Or gave the effect shadow to one of the sides of the face.

regards, merwyn

Hi Liz,

Good to hear from you, yes I agree the teeth are to white I havn't the time to play around with photos these days so I got this program just for those women who insist looking younger? I prefer to keep mine natural.
I put a background in this one I thought it blended in with the bedspread.
You take care and hugs to all the family xx Trace

Hi Trace, just a few ideas for next time for you..appart from the wall thing, and the bedspread..perhaps a little less whitening on her teeth, as they look ultra bright compared to the rest of the shot. There is still lots of detail, which is good, as often it tends to get lost in the editing. Keep at it though, as you are doing very well. I too prefer the original, but as you said, people want this stuff!!
Anyway, just my humble opinion...

Kisses to you and uncle :) :)

Thanks Joann I appreciate your opinion, I do agree with the line on the back wall it is distracting, and the clevage shot was only done to give her husband..thanks

Just my opinion Tracy, but I like the original better, it just looks more "real".

I'm no bridal photographer, and this is not about your editing, however, there are 3 things I noticed within the image itself that I thought I might share with you.
1) There is, for me, a visual conflict between her face, her cleavage and her hands. (and I'm a straight female) I don't find the pose very complimentary.
2) The line behind her that is created by the wall molding makes the whole image seem crooked.
3) I might have covered the floral fabric with a solid as the flowers in the pattern to the right of her hands draw the eye away from the bouquet and ring.
On a good note, you have captured the skintones, hair color and expression very nicely.
Just the humble opinion of a point and shoot amature.
