I'm dizzy because somehow I can see the depth here John, perchaps the rocks with all these 'lines' gives directions to my eyes to try to see the horizon line, wonderfull emotion plus great lighting conditions under heavy cloudy sky that adds a lot on the mood of that place, a wonderfull coast John! Excellent for sure. Best regards!

Hi John, I like the concept of this image with the striation of the rock drawing the eye in. But, I think that in order for this to be more successful, you would need more light on the foreground or add contrast. Also it looks like you are using a hard edge ND filter. The edge of it is a bit to apparent midway up your image. Either use a softer edge filter or maybe slide the filter up to the juncture of stone and ocean where it would not be as distracting. This image might look cool in B/W as it is not really about color but more about texture

Eye-catching foreground, John, agree a little more saturation and or contrast would make it pop. I'll be catching up over the next few days, looking forward to all your new shots.

Love the texture in the foreground rocks. Not one of my favorites of yours, but very good and interesting, nonetheless, John.:)

Hi Jon,
Interesting shot. I like it.Judging by the thumbnail I would never have guessed that this is at the sea. It looks more like a giant granite boulder. The huge rock foreground certainly gives it an interesting touch. Perhaps a bit undersaturated(in my humble opinion). All in all however, very pleasant to look at. Well Done!
Cheers, Stef
