This is a shot from Park Omega, and yes I'm sure this moose is sleeping. It looked so comical with its head laying on its back like this. I used my 300mm lens so there was no way I was going to get the whole moose into the frame. The sad part about this is there is a pack of Timber Wolves not more than 100' away from this moose and it doesn't even bat an eye. In the wild, it would be gone like a shot. There is very little life left in this wildlife.
You know, I'm not really enjoying these pictures from Park Omega.
