About
Today there was a weather front coming in full force and the winds were pelting us with dust bits that stung like bees. We were in full rain gear, not for the rain but as a protection from the particles of sand and such, as well as the prickly plants. Just about every plant we walked through had thorns. I was wearing my new rain pants as that was all i had and I am now wondering...how water proof are they going to be now? I managed to patch some of the bigger holes with "Shoe Goo," a must have for all outdoors people. It will glue just about everything you can think of. Even the little rubber feet that came off repeatedly from my laptop, even when new ones from the dealer would come off again. No I am not a Shoe Goo rep...lol...
Great shot, Tim! Cool stacked clouds there. Kinda make those mountains seem rather small. Guess you'll just have to buy more rain pants! After a few shots like this i'm sure it was worth it to get out there. Cheers from the windy arctic. Gary:)
