Yeah, been in that situation many times. Comes with the territory.

Dear Luis
Finally Iīm back from Jutland. Thank you for commenting. The center is indeed heavy, but I personally like this contrast. The heavy and the light in a raw combination:-)
Best wishes
Annemette

To Luis,

Dear Luis, I don't know if it ever happened to you but in the cities, or any place where humans reside, there are thousands of things that are 'heavy or hard for the eye'. Like those crazy and too ungly skyscrapers that really exhaust your breath and take your sun! or should i go on, in taking examples as such!? and they are part of our everyday life, and in photography many people react to this life with their mediums, in this case the camera!
As for the photography, we all know there are rules on it- you master them and then you can always play with them, or prove me wrong!?
Here, in the case of Anne, you stick to the rules while you ignore the idea/ concept behind this very photograph which has got to do much about your life, my life and everyone's life in this planet that is being devestated by every passing day!!! well i have a question for you man, should a picture be beautiful so that it would tackle you attention?!

P.S. you have some stunning pictures!

Exactly, Onie. We might demand from all the governments to be concerned for the environment, but we ARE the people, the state that the governments merely represent. The changes need to come from the people and our actions in everydaylife.
Thanks for commenting!

Dear Visar
You interpreted my image very well. I am indeed worried about our environment because not only do we destroy the natural habitats around us by means of polluting the oceans and destroying the forests, but we also interfer with even the sky and the entire climate for our planet which is scarry.
I have always thought about not using too much water and electricity and so forth, but still I feel guilty for not doing more. If we all made an effort and reduced materialism and use of natural resources then we wouldhave come a long way.
Thanks for sharing your important and interesting comment.
Best wishes from a fellow planetinhabitant:-)

That's an interesting collection of lines. Did you shoot a lot of that structure?

A nice combination of abstract and seascape Annemette. The composition seems to work very well.

Is a wonder idea...but for me the black line at the center of the image is very heavy in visual terms, so is really strong or hard by the eye, broke the stage in the middle like two images.- Kiss and warm regards.- LUIS (no rating)

Love the title Annemette...:)))

Love the light and silhouette created... Wonderful composition...:)))

Really gives thought to the image and makes the viewer contemplate the future... We are the *throw away* society... We use our resources and demand more without blinking... Thankfully, many governments have now come to the fore, BUT, it is we the individual who need to change... and not tomorrow...

Excellent...:)))

Onie...

Hey again,
well the title of the image tackled a thought in me; that is that with every passing day our modern world is seizing the space, taking our oxygen and all the rest that i have to be a biologist to know! I have been doing lately something like, and if i misinterpreted your photo you have to pardon me, but maybe i was affected by the work that i did on a project whose aim was as stated above and i did something similiar!
Anyhow, this is a great almost monocromatic picture with a very well framed composition!

many regards,
Visar
