About A portrait of a friend while he was relating a story to me. As I looked at the picture it struck me that I was not really seeing him but instead was seeing the face of a person taking on a role in the story. It seemed like he was wearing a mask so I made the final picture match my vision.
Converted to black and white with contrast adjustment.

Srna, my friend. This is what we do: show our feelings in our pictures. No doubt you would enjoy listening to his stories.
--Best regards, Jan

Joe -- Thanks for the comment and yes--- same idea. We sometimes make our pictures conform to our mind's vision. In Steve's case there could be several reasons for the multiple exposure. :) :)
After all, it was a pub where taken.
--Best regards, Jan

Quite original and effective Jan. Very well done my friend.
It is interesting that your discription of your experience with your friend which prompted this shot is very similar to mine with my friend which resulted in my image "An Image With Steve"
Best regards,
Joe

Thanks, Michele. I am glad you see the Mask idea behind this. As my friend told his story he took on different roles and made faces and changed his voice a bit here and there; he was not even aware he was doing it. He is quite a story teller and enjoys retelling things that happen to him. We do this with pictures and he does it with words and gestures.
--Best to you, Jan
