Doyle,
Thanks for your comment. And 'Yes' I think that Neat Image cleaned up the IR noise quite well.

Frank

I love the beautiful IR- tones and the very good composition. In this case the grain just gives a moody effect.

Robert,
Taking your advice, I used Neat Image to reduce the noise in the photo and also used a clone tool to remove the dust spot. I think the shot now looks much better.

Thanks again for your advice.
Regards,
Frank

Chapel - improved

Frank Mercer   {K:1925} 4/12/2007
Robert,
Thanks for your comments on my IR shots. I will take a look at using Neat Image to improve my shots. I didn't know about this program so thanks for the recommendation.

For another of my shots you recommended I use a -ev if the sky is blown out, or +ev for reflections. I will also try these in some of my future shots. Many thanks for the tips.

IR photography is something new to me, so I really appreciated your comments.

Best regrads,
Frank

Peaceful mood Frank, beautiful capture. The grain[noise?]adds to the mood. There is a small dust spot just above the steeple you might want to clone it out.I find the IR conversion attracts a lot of noise so I uses Neat Image[noise remover]
there is a free version if you are interested just Google it.
Take care
Robbie
