Very nice Jon!!
There is nothing like the feeling of waking up on your birthday and finding out you have a NEW BIKE!! The expression on his face says it all.

I like the way you have kept your son in a slight blur condition and kept the bike sharp and ultra-real looking.

One thing I might consider is turning this one into the square format by cropping away some of that space on the right side. I think just leaving a little space on the right side of the handle bars would work nicely.
My reasoning is that our eyes just naturally go right to the shiney handlebars and the boy's face way over to the left. We pretty much ignore the right side of the image anyway.
