YT...:))) Your *about* is exactly the way I say our memories are kept... the drawers of our mind... Be it a smell, words spoken, special events or everyday happenings, they are there... Tucked away to be taken out, sometimes by choice and sometimes because that memory needs some air :) With time, some get softer, not quite as clear, where others grow stronger and change shape in content... but they are there, in whatever form, folded in those memory drawers...:)))
Shadows on the wall is a beautiful analogy of memories YT... The older trees with softer shadow... The newer, thinner branches clearer, sharper...:)))
