Hi Christine,
Thank you so much for your wonderfully kind words and I will most definately visit your website.Last year I lost 4 dogs, 2 goats, my Ringneck parrot and my precious little guinea pig all within the year. So I would like to put up a combined tribute for all of my furkids if that is OK? I will do it after Easter, I am so busy from now until the Tuesday after the holidays.

Sylvia, this is lovely, and the poem, which always brings tears to my heart, is lovely. If you want to send a photo of Frankie, and some memories, to our website,www.eccchalo.org -- I will post it.. We have a "memories" page, and I am webmistress. You can see my little Eliza and Java (14 and 13 y.o. when they died) on it. (I just got in from working on their garden in my back yard...always some tears shed...)
Someday... we will see all of them again.

You are so right Srna, he was such a little fighter, a brave little man!!! I miss him,for the last two weeks he had taken to following me all over the place. He passed away on my bed wrapped in my arms.

I read out this memorial a few days ago but I couldn't write earlier cause I was to upset:(

Thank you so much for your condolences they mean such a lot to me. Frankie was a very sweet little boy who after being butted in the face by a sheep spent the last 3 years of his life with only half a bottom jaw, he managed to eat and live normally he was such a little fighter!

Hi Syl, Frankie must have been a very special guy. Such a lovely scene, a great tribute to Frankie. May he never be forgotten every time you see a rainbow. You are both in my thoughts, I love reading the "Rainbow Bridge" brings a tear and a smile and the peace to know that every thing is going to be allright, and a special day to look forward too. Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
