Many thanks for the nice and detailed comment, Michele. It is always interesting to read how something is seen by other people when they describe so well what they see. For me it has been the special look of the thin branches with the snow that made my shoot this and the previous one, which is also why I limited the DoF to the the region of the branches and tried to get the building behind it much less sharp. But indeed the building does its work well as a background.

I like this image Nick... The focus on the trees here sooo unusual looking stiffened by the snow is sort of like peeking thru to a building I am not supposed to see, and the building is very interesting at that !! Very well seen and taken... Good focus, and good dof light , and shadows. 7/7 Michele~
