About Yes I know it is a crazy over PS image. The moon made me do it... lol...
The original image was shot so long ago, I don't even remember which film I used! I know the camera would have been one of my ancient Minoltas.
Yes, the frame is too large and "heavy" and possibly to "hard" in contrast with the deliberately soft face of this beautiful model. However, the end result is here and I receive all comments graciously, unless of course you abuse me! :)

Why am I so attracted to non contemporary eras Onie? LOL!
Yes, I see that it indeed rather Art Deco, though Art Deco is not my "favourite" (she says looking around her loungeroom at all the art deco furniture and other stuff... lol...)

But you are VERY right re 20's. When I first made this image, I photoshopped a lot of different ways and actually even gave her natural red hair (which she was wearing "up", so it was easy to alter the shape), a flappers style! Hehehehehehe.... Even more or less hidden here, you still "see" it! LOL! You ROCK!(You feel it I think would be more accurate...)

Hugs to you, my friend and I'll visit when I can... really! :)

Ani, this, including frame, has an Art Deco feel...:)

Maybe the angle of such a petite face with such fine features, the milky look, the slightly hammered silver look of the frame... For me it is the *twenties*...:)))

Extra nice Ani...:)

Onie...

Heya Colin! :)

Great to see you again... gee when was the last time? (ROFLOL... a couple of days ago in person... hehehe... I noticed you haven't posted any of the pics of me from the extensive torturous "model shoot" you put me through over the past couple of weeks...just as well... hehehe...Don't want to scare anyone!)

Thanks for your comments and also as I happen to know your monitors, that's a totally correct statement re how images appear differently on each of them!

Glad you like this image in any case.

Thanks again and Warm Hugs~
Ani :)

Hello my friend nice to you again, an interesting image. the colours I see I do not find displeasing I am looking at this on my laptop,on my desktop I have two LCD monitors of the same brand and model with settings the same yet there is quite a difference in the colour hues between them. Which goes to show that we all see these images a little differently to each other and most importantly we might miss what the photographic artist had intended.

No need to be sorry Dear Shirley!

I have often said that one of the only things that bothers me about images on screens, rather than seeing them hard copy, is that no two screens will portray the image the same way as I see it on mine! Eeeks... I wonder how the other colours look! LOL!

Also some people have posted in regard to a particular image saying: "it is not sharp enough", and another re same image: "it is a little too sharp". Go figure! LOL!

Hugs~
Aniko :)

Hmmm...it is pretty red on my monitor, and that's where my eyes keep wanting to focus...sorry!

I love your logic, Dave :) :) :)

This was a "lunar-tick-tock-tick-tock" piece of creative Moon Madness. I have no idea if it is "good"... it just... "is"...

Thanks for your many hmmmmms and additional comments.

Kisses~
Ani :)

Like I said Dear Shirley...
I was in a strange "frame of mind" (pardon the pun) when I put this one together.

On my monitor, the red is not showing as a real red. More like a dark maroon, and relatively unobtrusive. It is actually her hair. But I do see your point, and would actually like to see how you see it on your screen!

Thank you for commenting my friend.

Hugs to you~
Aniko :)

Thanks for the yayyyyyyyyyyy! Dave :)

I'm sort of back...sadly not as often as I would like to be (for a million reasons).

Yep, I was "disturbed" and howling at the Moon when I did this one... glad you can see that... hehehe...

All the best my friend!
Aniko :)

Hi Joggie!

So pleased you visited and am really happy with your kind comments. When I was putting this image together in PS, I really did "feel" the influence of the Full Moon and total lunar eclipse approaching and kind of "tugging at me"... Yes, I know that sounds strange... hey... I am strange! LOL!

Thank you again and see you soon I hope!

Warm Wishes,
Aniko:)

hmmmmmm.

hmmmmmm.

hmmmmmm. hmmmmm.

I think that big old frame makes it look very surrealistic. Which is okay, I guess, since the photo kind of portrays that, too. Okay, I'll call this one good, it appealed to me to look and think about it.... so it must be good.

Kisses!

Yes, strange but interesting. The only thing that bothers me is the red around her ear, which draws my eyes there.

Surely different Aniko, yet refreshingly creative. The frame has an almost moving, hypnotic effect if one concentrates on the face - creating the effect of the woman staring at one through a square hole in a wall. Great work! kind regards.
