The clouds were just parting and wafting to the leigh (lee?) side of the peak when i caught it in semi sunlight. I guess it formed that uniform consistency as a result.

Great shot of the peak against that grey sky, Tim, it really stands out with lots of detail and nice placement within the frame!

Great shot Tim... kinda early for you to be posting though, isn't it? hahaha! I like the lighting on the mountain here with the cloudy background. Were you shooting from the highway or were you up hiking somewhere? Cheers, Gary
