Dave: We have them in Colorado too but they are well mapped in Florida. We found some more on the east coast but the light wasn't too good as it was raining.

Hey Bill: Thanks for the kind words. It's been a long winter here. Just the usual deck birds to shoot so we went off to Florida. These little guys were situated at the south end of a softball field, amazing.

A beautiful shot of this elusive owl, Fred! They were almost gone from this area, but apparently are making a comeback. You've got great colour and detail on this one!
