Hi Joe, thanks for the comments and input! This was taken on a very dull and overcast day, and I played with it for a long time trying to get a balance with detail in the snow, sky and background sign and figures. You're right about the horizon, or at least the poles on the entrance! Dave.

Very nice shot Dave. I missed getting shots of the snow sculptures at this year at Winterlude. Hope you don't mind, I played with the lighting levels a bit to get the snow sculpture to stand out a bit more and adjusted the horizon. I've likely completely distroyed the look and feel you were going for. :) :)

great snowman and I think you did well with the composition. I would be tempted to use curves to bring a little more 'whiteness' into the snow.
