Hi Joggie,

The combination of tones, hues and contrasts in this scene is awesome. As to the composition, I find the use of the imaginarly line through the shrubs in the foreground towards the white sand in the distance one of the strongest aspects in this photo, as it really guides the eyes through the image, using the whole image pane. Very well captured, and an astonishing level of details. Very good shot.

Cheers,

Hugo

The colors available to shoot there are beyond stunning and such a contrast to the continuous cyan like perspective here.

Lovely landscape with an unusual blend of colours, Joggie! I am surprised that you did not upload it as a panorama.

Hi Riny, thanks for your comment! Welcome as always. Regarding my name: Joggie - It is actually a shortening of the name Joachim which is of Hebrew origin, and its meaning is "established by God". In Afrikaans the term "perde-joggie" is used as the Afrikaans for a "racing jockey", or "plate-joggie" for the english "disc jockey". In one instance though a petrol attendant is called a "petrol-joggie" in Afrikaans, which is as far as I could establish the only time it is used for somebody in a "servant" position. I hope that explains it all.

So, although the name Joggie comes from Joachim, and does not mean to be a servant, I dont have any gripes to be a servant to my neighbour, especially those in need!

Take care Riny!

Wonderful colour and good composition, Joggie! I like the way the orange part is layered in front of the background.
