WOW, outstanding capture Peter, the snow really sets the whole compostion off nicely. The sharpness and color are fantastic too.I'd give anything to capture one of these guys.

Beautiful photo, Peter. Patience rewarded. Excellent lighting despite the cloud cover, with highlighting snow as well.
These birds are sure majestic. One day I got this close to a Golden eagle, and I noticed a porcupine quill sticking out of his head. No camera that day, but the spotting scope got me close enough to see it. Not, however, close enough to help at all.
