An amazing amount of details in a very well balanced composition with an intriguing tonality. Especially the depth of the photo amazes me, as it seems to consist of a darker foreground that prepares for the main subject, a main scene in light, and a background that playes the role of the canvas that enhances the contours of the main scene. The photo has a very sugestive scene - indeed reminding of some theater play that one carries in mind.

The scene is magic... and for me, your sons footprints coming down the drift from the trees to his position under the lamp, and no other truly visible human participation in the frame, is what finishes this... :)
The light and tones are the icing on a wonderful composition nessa... :)

Nessa, this certainly is a lonely feeling picture. Good effect with the snow as well. A surprising amount of detail in the trees, considering how dark this image is.
