Thanks Larry. I took about twenty shots and got about five that were any good. Funny enough it was mainly the backgrounds that spoilt them. A lot of the shots had spectators, fences or buildings in the background. Most of the time I left the camera on Program mode and let it look after the shutter speed. Fortunately it was a very sunny (and hot) day so that was no problem. Cheers, Ann.
