Thank You for the info Robbie... 30 ft is not very far away. Isn't it mating season soon ? I think it is .. Be careful Robbie !! The image really works cause it spooks me alright ..lol !!!

Hi Michele,thanks for the comment.Don`t know how long he is but he isn`t very big.I was about 30 ft away and it is the same one as last week. Spooky was the effect I was after,the image was manipulated via Levels and Brightness/Contrast to spook you!!!!! LOL!!! Shot on a tripod with a 300mm lens plus 1.4 tele converter plus 1.5 film to digital conversion equals 630mm.Too heavy to handhold,no wonder my bird shot were sooo soft!! Take care Robbie Robbie

Is this the same gator you featured last week ? He is so dark and blends with the shadowed water so well...it is spooky .... How long is he/she and how close do you get ????
