About We had just driven past these two women on a motorcycle, and my only chance of getting the shot was to quickly point at the rear-view mirror. This is optical, and rather reflective of the dizzying blur that is driving (or riding) in India.

Rules of the road? Make your own.
Stripes on the pavement? Merely suggestions. ;)

Yeah, I tried to get their faces through the rear-view mirror, but when I saw it blurred, I realized it was even more indicative of the chaos that is the Indian street.

Now, if only I could add a .wav file to this with thousands of horns...HONKING. ;)

This ones great !! That's India, a blur of colors, people, and chaos (but an interesting friendly chaos) Every picture tells a story. One of your top ones. Mark

Paul, welcome to India !! I moved back to India last month from Phoenix. I hope you have a good time photographing here. Looking forward for your Taj Mahal snaps. This one gives the busy street effect and the blur signifies that the intent is not to show a face but the environment. Well done.

The out of focus adds nice effect here. I can feel the charm in it. Well taken shot.
Regards.

dear paul this is a beautiful and relavent shot because you used the blur effectively..that blur and the masked man on the foreground describes the heavy pollution normally a city life offers..congrats
