I don't know whether you get the TV programme Doctor Who in Poland, but many years ago there was a story called 'The Hand Of Fear' about a 2 million year old stone hand that was found in a quarry that came to life... your photo reminds me of that!

please tell me that's bronze! Great image! It looks like a corpse buried in the snow. Your exposure is perfect. Snow deceives the camera.
