Yes, I see. A very hard problem to solve. I do see the tree as an essential part of this photo - especially because it stands paralell to one tower and supports the leading lines upwards, so it's something that I also wouldn't try to remove from the photo. And also because of the nice postcard look of which you already talked. The question is, how to include also its top without removing to much of the bottom of the image.

I think that you managed to create the wish in the mind of the spectator to "see more" of the scene, which is of course great. May I ask you at what focal length of your available range between 36mm and 432mm you shot that?

Best wishes,

Nick

Thanks for your critique Nick. I included the tree to give it more of a "postcard" look. If I had moved in to exclude the tree the picture would have been totally different. I could try photoshopping the tree out and see what the picture would look like.

The details are excellent and the coloring superb here, Clay! Alone the white of the building is an eyecatcher that gets even stronger in combination with the shadows in the sculptures. I have some minor troubles with composition here. I have to look again and again, and still something is "missing". maybe the whole tree in the foreground should be on the image? Or rather more of the lower part of the building? Hard to say, but I think that making the "right" decision for composition is already hard for itself here.

Have a nice day,

Nick
