Last night included a quick trip to Sydney city. Here the almost full moon was casting a wonderfull glow over the water. In Sydney Harbour is Fort Denison, it was used in the early days of settlement as a place of punishment and confinement, Pinchgut, for the convict population. During the mid 19th century a fort was built on the island to protect Sydney Harbour. Fort Denison is now a tourist destination and is open daily for lunch at the cafe or for picnics
Mr Bjornsson, Let me congratulate you on a PERFECT subject. It's hard to believe you were not guided to this capture by a PROFESSIONAL photographer ! The image is sharp enough to be high quality DIGITAL, but I see you shot with Can-on film.. I also have enclosed a close-up of 'Pinchgut' or Fort Denison for you to peruse.. Best Regards JD
