actually, i don't use unsharp mask on jpg images which is what this one was to start with. Maybe it was from reduction or maybe I forgot to click on no sharpening when I uploaded it into UF?? (on the few raw/tiff images that I have, I have used about a 25% unsharp mask and don't really notice a huge difference. again, something I really need to learn about as excessive sharpening leaves too many "artifacts" (or whatever it's called) Thanks for the comment.

Great landscape in a wonderful light. I dunno, but maybe the image suffers a bit from excessive unsharp mask ?
