Nice holidays for you too, Ardalan!
Christmas is the ideal time for mathematics, so I go again for solving the BCE now. Oh, BTW the Big Christmas Equation describes the relation between the ideal of Christmas and what the world is really doing - no solution was achieved up to our days, but mathematicians never abandon hope! ;-)

That's true Nick. That's cropping does a better job.
Glad that you are happy with your new change.
Good luck my friend, Happy christmas day for you and your family.
Ardalan.

Thanks a lot Ardalan! And I think that the crop after Annemette's idea enhances the "rally flying" even more.
BTW, they always fly rallies when photographers come with some nice sandwich in their hands ;-)
Take care,
Nick

OK, then it means that one can at least partially control the "felt temperature" by cropping. Thanks a lot for the idea and the nice lines, Annemette. Dark matter, dark stars, so why not dark photographers? ;-)
Take care too,
Annemette

very beautiful and moving. It makes my eys move. like the birls are rally flying. and from the bottom to horizon is a very good movement of my eyes.
Good job Nick, Thanks for that.
Happy Christmas Ardalan.

Dear Nick Yes, this crop I like because it leaves the spectator to focus more on the essential parts of the photo. And yes it looks warmer because the colder colours of the sky donīt appear so much in this one. The dark photograph looks for meaning aims to shoot and crops away a fly a wish to learn, a need to know what hides in the combination of a lens and an eye Take care Annemette

Thank you very much for the nice comment and the idea, Iron Mermaid. Let's see what it looks like if we crop the sky off. I think it got more density and became somehow "warmer", or is it only my impression?
Though the gulls and swans are photogenic enough, I would wish an albatros for a photographic enhancement of the song lyrics: "The rhyme of the ancient Iron Maid"
*** Hear the rhyme of the ancient Iron Maid see her eyes as she stops at 5.6 crop the sky off the shot of the photograph stay here and look to the photos of the lake ***
As always with all apologies to Iron Maiden :-D
Best wishes,
Nick

Ah, a wonderful image with this motion of the seagulls as a moving roof above the majestic swans-I like the bluish-white colours. Good one. Hey maybe you should try cropping off the sky only leaving the roofs - only maybe! Take care Iron Mermaid
