About	This is a goat horn. A horn is a hollow, pointed projection of the skin consisting mainly of keratin as well as other proteins. Wildlife have a variety of uses for horns, including: 1. Fighting members of their own species for territory. 2. Dominance and mating priority. 3. Root in the soil or strip bark from trees. 4. Display attraction. 5. Provide cooling in some animals. Since they are an extension of the skin, they have blood vessels in them, allowing the horns to function as a RADIATOR to cool the blood. Camera settings: 1/400 sec - f/5 - ISO 200 - FL 200mm.
