Hi Sophie ~ many thanks for your comments and suggestions.. I'll have to check out your kitty shot :) I like using SC on certain images although I try not to over-use it .. I often use the contrast button but in this one I used a very light diffuser as I wanted to create a softness in the feathers to give a sharp contrast to the eyes... I will go back into ps and play with another owl shot to see the effect ~ cheers, susie

Great! I did one like this of my cat with her blue eyes. using PS you may want to try out the contrast button as it will add a great edge in an image like this :) GOOD WORK

Hi Susie,
This is a unique Idea of adding the extra punch to the picture with photoshop, and you did it nicely, secondly to get the subject pose for you is a challenge by itself...
