Rodrigo, your shots are all high quality, for simplicity, I like the duck and I am going to say that I might have put him more toward the bottom left of the frame (my photography mentor talks about the law of thirds and I have become quite a bore on the subject!)to give the composition a bit more power, you may not agree of course but then maybe you will try it.....good work, much enjoy the little fellows reflection and the ripples in the water. cheers, david.

Ohhh Leonie how I understand your point!! It surelly is healthy to leave the realm of reality and sail into fantasy world every now and again!

Nice to meet you!

Rod... We all lead such demanding, time is short lives, with no chance of slowing down... So, for me at least, a sense of the ridiculous is a lifesaver... My imagination gives me *time out* so to speak... :) hopefully without offending...

Now, if I see this cute little duck paddling madly on another page... I'll just aim him back here ~~GRIN~~...

In seriousness and fun... ;)

Leonie: well, for an idea what it might look like, have a look at my latest upload! Not a duck, but a similar idea...

Thanks Leonie for your kind words, I liked your imagination taking over... sometimes I lack that, it gets too real and that's not funny!

Cheers,
Rod

I like this as well Rodrigo... Actually would be interesting to see AJ's suggestion of same colour water as UF...

~~GRIN~~ Thinking little duck may decide his lake became exceedingly bigger and could end up anywhere... Sorry, my imagination just took off...

It works regardless... Well done...:)

Thanks Bek for your kind comments, as I said before I included this mostly to limit the image when displayed in white backgrounds as I wasn't planning on printing this with the border, I was actually planning on a borderless but the alternative given by AJ might work well as well!

See you soon,
Rod

AJ, thanks for your comment, really appreciate, I think you might be right the frame was introduced mostly to delimit the photo against white backgrounds and it wasn't meant to be printed on that colour of canvas... but you suggested an alternative I didn't think before... thanks!

Rod

Hey there Rodrigo, this is great!
I am a big fan of high-key type images, and you have presented this one nicely. I also am not too sure about the border, perhaps leaving it off all together may look better, but certainly only my personal opinion. All in all, I really like this little duck!
cheers, Bek

Very nice high-key result.

While I have no particular issue regarding the frame, I think this might work particularly well on UF without a frame (and perhaps with a water colour the same as the UF background).
