Very nice Paul. Just saw this version of the shot. I like the lighting and clarity. The contrast of the beautiful fashion and model in the industrial background works well.

Mmmmm, finally I see the best part of Vanessa's red silky dress ;-)
If we need to see the dress in your fashion picture, I would like to see more light on the metal part (the most interesting detail).
If we need to see beautiful Vanessa, I think that her back and left shoulder are a little bit lost in the backgroud. If she would make one step right she will be more visible and contrasted.
Just my opinion. :-)

Very cool shot, Paul! I love how thee reds really stand out against the dull industrial background. Great mood and attitude!

I totally agree Paul . . . that's why I said " . . . to my eye - the DOF is fine as it is." Happy Holidays! :)

Thanks, Doyle.
No, I feel the DOF brought a sufficient blur to the background, because I still wanted it to be recognizeable for what it is.

Well composed Paul . . . To my eye, the copywrite and name are a distraction but I think that's probably not true in the print version . . . ;)

You actually could narrow the dof using extension tubes if you had some . . . but - again, to my eye - the DOF is fine as it is. Red was a striking choice to use given this BG. Nicely done!

Shallow DOF was impossible at this distance; I was shooting @ 135mm and she was 40 feet away. Thanks for your comments, Gabino!

Love the contrast, and though I usually like a more shallow DOF, this is a really awesome incongruity. A beautiful dressed up model, against a really "rough" background. Great job!
