Wonderful original capture- really intriguing image. The shapes, colours and lighting from that angle marvellous to see.

Thank you Shirley. What you see is not a flare. It came about by over lightening an area to bring out the detail. Unfortunatley I am having big problems with my monitor. Recently descovered it is set much darker than it should be. The result is that the images you see are very different from the ones I edited.
I recently adjusted my monitor to compensate & thought that was problem solved... now however I find it keeps reverting itself to the darker view :(
Basically it means that nearly every photo in my portfolio since I changed monitors (& that is a lot of photos) is not what I intended.
Have re-lightened my screen & now see what you are refering to :( Thank you so much for pointing this out.. it was not intended. This, I feel is going to be one of many shots removed from my portfolio & hopefully uploaded as I see it.
Thank you again... really appreciate you pointing this out otherwise I would have continued thinking my monitor was now fine :/

Hi Shirley.. thank you for your comments.. greatly appreciated as always.
Not sure where you see the flare here.. the lights shown are those illuminating the bridge, apart from the red in the bottom left corner which is a reflection of the lights on the water from another bridge.
A good view of the bridge can be seen in Daves profile & you can see the lighting on this.

If it weren't for the flare, it would be perfect. I like it, Sue.
