About Despite many nights of freezing temps, I was pleasantly surprised to find some "hardy" mums still blooming. And yes, I was playing with the mirror again...I couldn't help myself!

Hello my friend...thank you for the kind words! All is well and I'm getting better everyday. Hopefully it won't be too much longer before I'm back to my old self!

I'm behind also, I know you have a couple of new posts and I promise to catch up with you soon Ray!

92?...92?...and I'll bet there's a pesky ocean breeze blowing too! Right now (3:00PM) we're looking at 42 degrees...but wait, Thanksgiving Day is supposed to be sunny and 60ish...yahoo!

Thanks for the comment Doyle!

Take care...Robin

Perfect tones for this Robin! I love the DOF and the reflected DOF being slightly more OOF! :)
The mirror and the lighting this way remind me of a black lacquer - highly polished - finish. Of course . . . it's well composed.

On a side note . . . they have mums in Illinois?? LoL! It's gotta be cold . . . we were record high yesterday at 92 degrees. :P

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~

Such a beautifully original image. The colour and reflection make it poignant- but positive to know it is a survivor. Ideal combination.

Hiya sweetie.....I'm all behind as usual. How lovely to see a posting from you my dear Robin and such an excellent one as well. I love the tonal finish to this and the clarity of detail is just superb. The usage of the mirror is creatively and stunningly awesome. Well done you my lovely lady......hope everything is falling into shape and that your strength keeps growing. My very best wishes to you as always sweetie....a big hug......Ray;)
