It does? Mist brings so much mood to a photo. I can only imagine how a certain place in Cornwall looks like when it´s misty.

I looove this... it brings back lots of memories for me of walking in Wales. The blurred trees in the foreground work so well... the image as a whole has an ethereal, mysterious mood that is very affecting...

What? Am I already there? Goodness! Who's gonna sell me a ticket back home now?
I hope your dog knows what to do in case the other dogs, the white ones the size of a bus, approach! I mean those over there that run to me roaring! No wait, they are not dogs, they are... polar bears! And they seem to enjoy something else than the cold, namely the idea of... a nice lunch!
Running at lightspeed now - please inform the red cross! The bones they'll find will be mine ;-)

As far as I can see it is only ice and snow everywhere around. Even the people live in houses made of ice! Where can that be? :-)

Yes, fog is indeed a weathercondition where one can walk away and never be found unless the sun comes back, and you find yourself in down-town something*LOL* Thanks for your comment

Dear Annemette,
This is a wonderful composition with the fog and mist , so dark, and the feeling so quiet.
I like the darkness and bluish tone to it giving it a chilling factor in 2 ways !

Heeeey, that's foggy, that's shadowy, that's mysterious in its own way! A bit of cleaning the branches on the right could do good, but what a scene! Even the blueish colors seem so perfectly match that strange atmosphere! Not to speak about the blurry tree on the top right that makes the distance to the houses in the fog so "feelable"!
A great shot, just as if made by a silent wanderer lost somewhere in space and time with a song that nobody can hear!
