Thanks Shadi!
I clicked on your profile picture for the large version. It's a beautiful photograph of you. I love the absolutely perfect focusing on your face, with everything else out of focus. Excellent use of depth of field.
Love,
Tad

Thanks. I originally titled it "Transition" because I assumed the lights on the building automatically turned themselves on and off depending on the amount of light in the sky. I figured I was at that point of "Transition," in which I was just a few minutes away from the second light being activated. But a few days later, I walked by and discovered, no, the second light was just dead all along. But there's still a light transition going on in the sky, so I figure the title still works. There I go again, making a short story long ;-)
Thanks again for the compliment.
Love,
Tad

Dear Kostas,
Thanks very much!
I went to your site and am intrigued by your "1sec to 10hour exposures" project. I'm bookmarking it and will spend some time perusing. I've thought of doing time exposures for star shots, but a ten-hour exposure of an ordinary, everyday thing is such a neat concept. Thanks for the inspiration.
Photographically yours,
Tad

i've seen glorious dramatic skies like this before and i've been distracted by texts on the image a number of times, but the sweet and eye-catching 'on-off' contrast of the two lamps is something special that i see for the first time,as far as i can remember :) my regards, kostas
