Yes, travelling on water ia always special. The feeling of the water, the way the waves and light changes. Once I went on a three week long cruise up to the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Greenland and the Vestmannaislands and I felt uneasy when being on land because I wanted it to move! It was standing too still:-)) Yes, the crop you did makes the coming travel looking more threatening. Best wishes, Annemette

A beautiful and atmospheric image. The colours of the sky and the rays with the light and ripples of the water just gorgeous Annemette.

A very nice and atmospheric capture of the shimmering water in blue/black/white, the horizon line and the sunlight rays over it! The special touch of travelling through the seas! And the clouds make that even stronger, since they converge to the same focal point, out there to the horizon, creating the impression of some natural signs that show the way. A bit more sharpness for the clouds would add more. I guess that the low light didn't allow for a narrower aperture and at the same time staying at short exposure time?
Just for the record, this image offers also the possibility of a more "claustrophobic" cropping. Just cut the bright part of the sky away, and soon you are travelling on a very different sea!
Very nice work, keep it up!
Nick
