Like opening a door, expecting to get out in some more familiar place, and then stepping out in the seemingly endless perspective of a shore in the wind. The sudden change from still to motion, from peace to the fight of the elements, seems to dominate this picture. It is supported by the low light and the dark colors of the stones and the grass as they extend to the depth! And the depth, the contour of the shore down there, is like a small mystery that calls for discovery.
It is nice and secure on this side of the door, but it is the other side, stepping out in the wind, that enriches mind.
