Hello Kes,
Excuse, of course "vieuw" has to be "view" and not has to be added in the part of "last but not least".
More fast than accurate, that happens oft te me. Still a lot to learn for me and not only about photography.
Greetz, Albert Jacobs :)

Hello Kes,
An excellent portrait of your beautiful woman and at the same time an intriguing vieuw. I like the way she looks, that makes this image strong in expression. It could be a fine mix of "seducing" with a little - just enought - touch arrogance. Of course only subjective interpretation (I like to define expressions as accurate as possible). Was I close ? What you did with colours bringing in this warm historical sepia kind of feeling is very nice and a good idea. The choice of a very bright background fits well to this. Last but least I like the composition, it's pure and attractive. Your woman may be proud with such a warm attractive portrait. A perfect shot and endresult. Compliments my friend !
Wish you, your beautiful woman and yours all the best, Albert Jacobs :)

A beautiful image- but not hard for you with such a beautiful wife Kes! I like the way her hair blows and looks free. But I never would have spotted a shadow on the chin you did.

It would be nice, Andre, if UF had a feature where you could reply to everyone at the same time.
That statement reminds me of the time I got everyone a bowl of candy for Christmas.
Just one bowl, let them all share....hey, I was a thrifty child....
:)
Anyhow, my concern was a shadow on her chin that I removed and replaced...with...unshadow!! heh heh, it is probably too late for me to be replying to comments!
Have a great weekend! Kes

Hi Ray, thanks for your comment, you are correct about the left catchlight, it's a little weak in the scan. I was so concerned about my rework of a small shadow on her chin that other blems went unnoticed.
Hey, I've had some of those pig-weeks also, don't worry about commenting my friend, it is always appreciated but this photography stuff is for relaxation!!! :) :) :)
Have a great weekend, Ray!

Thanks so much Don, she is a wonderful model and wife! My concern was if my removal of a shadow on her chin would be apparent...and apparently it was not! Success! :)
Thanks for taking the time to fix up this shot! I would have never thought to brighten up her eyes...next time I'll keep that in mind!
It was windy that day...seems like it always is windy at the Sand Dunes...I suppose that is just the nature of things there. I would like to go back there but don't think I'll chance the D80 with that environment just yet.
All the best my friend, Kes

Hi Khayala, Thanks! And thanks for taking time to look for the "problem"! It was a shadow on the bottom of her chin that I removed. The concern was that it looked unnatural...although I thought that her eyes would draw most of the attention.
All the best, Kes

Thanks so much for your wonderful comment, Robert! My friend, the original had a shadow on her chin...which I spent scads of time removing...pixel by pixel...and replacing...pixel by pixel. Apparently the fix was ok, or not noticeable...so that makes me happy! By the way, the background was wonderful, mountains of sand dunes, although at the time I had a film camera...not too sure how well the digital would fare on a shoot there with all the dust & sand.
Cheers, Kes

Don, Excellent job on the eyes on this image. It really does make a difference. The only problem is, my wife wants me to go through all of my images of her to check for dark shadows and remove them all :) Andre

Hi Kes, I don't see much of any problem with this one, unless it was the slight darkness under the eyes as Don suggested. BTW I think Don did a great job with that. It really does help getting rid of the darker shadows. Andre

You have a most beautiful wife my dear friend and I think your soft sepia toned portrait study of her is fabulous....I cannot see anything that would give me a problem other than the lack of catchlights in her left eye which could have been lost in the scanning as I can just about make out a trace of where they might have been. I love it though as it has a great dramatic look to it in amongst the obvious beauty of your dear wife. Well done to you my good friend for this excellently posed composition. Sorry to be late commenting but I have had a pig of a week at work and I am all behind. My very best wishes to you as always Kes........Ray:)

You have a very beautiful wife Kes. Sshe makes a great model. What a I saw was the dark areas under her eyes. I took the liberty of lightening they up and put a little white in the eyes. I like your pose and the windblown look. Don.

Oh my friend, what a sharp contrast, your preview modern colourful abstraction after a very well details portrait shot from your beautiful wife. This is a great work I do love the sepia mode, but I don't know what's your problem with it? Perhaps the background is disappeared, but the subject is here. Very well captured shot from your kind style dear my friend! Bravooo!
Cheesr dear Kes! Robert
