Ha ha ha! You've cut it back to my original crop, Doyle! I felt there were distracting shadows and ghosts at the top and bottom, so cropped them off and added those two horizontal bands. The "apparent" slope is probably the result of a little perspective "correction"...

Hey John . . . Intriguing shot and the silhouettes against the lighted areas are a nice touch. Two things to consider . . . and one of them seems unsure to me.
First . . . I feel that there is a slight dip down on the right side (horizon-wise). Don't get defensive . . . I can't find it but the feel is certainly there and I can't figure out why. Second . . . bringing the horizontal crops in to a pano-shot might have helped a great deal without losing any significant accents to the shot (Example attached). Just seems like a better format for presentation in this venue. Doing that may accent the oblique (VERY slight) horizon issue I was referring to as well . . . though I should point out that I full well expect you to tell me this is horizontally balanced. Feels like well balanced composition all-in-all . . . and I like the tree accents on either end. But did you notice . . .? That Nikon takes some great images, huh!
