It is a very green neighborhood full of life in summertime, Annemette.
As about signs and cars, well, moving them would be one solution, but Giuseppe's idea has something very attractive! ;-)
Thank you for your nice comment. Take care,
Nick

Hi Andre!
And that's why some small explosives can be a life saver for an angry photographer ;-)
Cheers,

Giuseppe, unfortunately I didn't take any explosives with me on that day! Which I still regret! ;-)
But as Lucerne is not so big, I'll surely find that monster standing somewhere again, heheeeee! ;-)
Kawooooooom! Van? What van?

Dear Nick I like this beautiful neighbourhood that must be wonderful in the summertime. Marvelous interesting old houses and trees. The sign on the left! Next time you must move it and try and push the cars away-haha. Maybe that won´t be a popular move but being a photograph anything goes;-) Take care, Annemette

Hi Nick, Sometimes it is so difficult to get decent shots of architecture without the interference of mundane every day life. Wires, signs, and colourful vans can be such a bother. :) Andre

Indeed, it has something of that atmosphere! So here is where the guys live that want to get me because of http://www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=1196436 ? ;-)
This is one old street on the slopes of the hills that surround Lucerne, full of similar houses and buildings. Some photos of them will follow.
Thanks a lot for your nice comment and all the best,
Nick

Nick-- of the series of building photos you recently posted, this one is definately my favorite-- because the castle-like house has so much character. For some reason (not sure why) the scene looks like something out of a James Bond spy novel, where the evil Doctor "??" lives.:) --Best to you, Jan
