This is a nice portrait. Perhaps a little bit too much light just under the eye but very great crop and play witj hair and shadows.

Un bel self..con un bel taglio, perņ forse ha ragione Peta, e con un'ottima luce..molto buono il dettaglio e belli i toni della pelle e i colori..ben fatto!
Ho anche io un paio di self, ma il risultato non mi ha soddisfatto appieno..ci lavorerņ..;)

i usually did self cause i have no model disponibility!
But his really difficult, you can't totally control the result of your pre-work until the end, cause you can't really know if you focused the right point, if the light are too bright or too dark....
but the secret is: Try, Try, Try.....

Great self portrait. I like your use of light and shadow, it adds to the mood you have created with your eyes staring into the lens. I also like your crop. I recently did my first self portraits and didn't realise how difficult they are until I tried to take one that I actually liked. Your is very nicely done.
