Great capture including a nice background. Often tried to photograph hummingbirds but the little buggers won't stay put long enough. Nice Job.

You sure are right on how hard it is to get these guy, and they are so skittish. I think you need a high shutter speed and really good light or even flash. All in all, it's a good start.

This is so beautiful sweet Kelly with it's gorgeous colour tones and clarity of detail. They are such pretty little creatures and I can well imagine the difficulty in catching a shot of one. Excellent capture, Kelly! I'd say it was 3 hours well spent to get just one shot like this. The colourful blurry background composition really frames the little hummer just nicely (not to mention matches the bits of colour on it's head). Good to see you posting again. Cheers, Gary

Wow, most excellent. And you are so right, Kelly, these are one of the hardest things to capture. I know, I tried with film once... never again.
This is so clear, it is unbelievable. I would gues that is pollen on him? Or whatever it would be from the flowers, great light and clarity, hats off, my friend.
