About Thakfully this shot is of backburning, not a real bushfire... Every season many areas in Victoria Australia are backburned as this particular part is the 3rd most bushfire prone area in the world! (This is where I live...)

Photo-journalistic work, yes, Renato...

Thankfully only of backburning and not a real bushfire.

Thank you for your kind comments my friend.
Best wishes,
Aniko :)

Oh, Aniko!

When I saw the thumbnail, I became a little sad, and tought it was one of your jornalistic works, a real bushfire. Ufffff. :)

Nice and warm shot, my friend! Well done!
Best wishes,
Renato

Thank you Gabino!

It was amazing how fast this fire was, considering how it was set under strict supervision and on a rather still day when the temperature wasn't all that high either.

The real bushfires that sweep through these partsbreak out in soaring heats on very windy days. They are a little frightening!

Thank you Shirley! Yes it was intesnse, that's for sure. And I too am pleased it is not a real bushfire, though we have had many. During those, I don't have time to photograph... too busy securing the property as best I can!!! Been evacutaed twice when I was a child and had no say... I still live in the same area. I will no longer be evacuated. I stay and fight the fire, or if I lose the fight I'd rather "go down with the ship" so to speak.

Hugs to you Shirley,
Aniko :)

Many thanks Mohammad. Fire when in control is very beautiful! It was so hot even from the distance I was shooting from though! :) I shot many images and the heat was unbelievably intense!!!

Best Wishes,
Aniko
