About A friend was kind enough to pose for this "James Dean" type shot. He is not a professional model, but I feel he carried it off very well! (I admit one of the main reasons I wanted this shot was for the background... one of my favourite old buildings...)

Yes, he does seem very natural in front of the camera. You're welcome, dear Aniko!:)

Thank you so much Shirley. I will hunt out a few more shots and post them. He has a great attitude. :) He would have made a fabulous model! I am lucky to have him as a friend willing to pose for my camera. I think he's a natural!

Warm Wishes,
Aniko :)

That was my first reaction on seeing this...James Dean! Remarkable portrait of this beautifully intense young man, Aniko!

Thanks so much Mary.

Yes, the peeling paint on the old weatherboards is a delight to me!!! I have a few portraits of this young man, and I always put him in very old settings, usually featuring wood. :)

Thanks again for your kind comment,
Best Wishes,
Aniko :)

Anything linked to James Dean has got to be worth looking at! This is a real classic portrait. See what you mean about the background- it is the wood I like.

Thank you so much Renato!

The light is completely natural. And yes, many thanks to my friend for making this image possible :)

Beautiful portrait!

I loved the tones and the lighting. The background is good too, it worked very well with the composition.

Good work from your friend too. He really has on this shot a "James Dean" expression. Well done!

Best wishes,
Renato

Warm thanks Dear Rashed... (should I call you that??? I became slightly confused when you changed your user name... )

I have just seen the wonderful "closed eyes" portrait you made. And have indeed commented. It is fantastic!!! Thank you so much for remembering me and posting it. A real honour.

All the best my friend,
Aniko :)
